Workforce Alliance

The Workforce Alliance brings together educators, workforce development professionals and human resource directors from throughout the region to provide input and guidance to our regional team. The group meets monthly to share best practices, discuss challenges, and identify strategies to help us develop a pipeline of talent in Greater Peoria.

Technical Work Group

Our Technical Work Group includes the economic and community development professionals from throughout Greater Peoria.  The team meets each month to provide input and guidance to our regional team, share best-practices and support one-another as we work to implement our regional economic development strategy.

Strategic Manufacturing Group

The Strategic Manufacturing Group develops targeted programs that inspire students to pursue careers in advanced manufacturing. Programs include the annual Discover Manufacturing Expo, where middle and high school students are immersed in a hands-on experience featuring a variety of manufacturing careers through plant tours and activities.

Strategic Healthcare

The Strategic Healthcare Group links healthcare professionals with area educators to identify critical workforce needs in our healthcare fields and promote opportunities to regional students. This new group is currently developing healthcare career exploration activities for middle and high school students in partnership with regional schools.

Water Resource Team

The Water Resource Team brings together professionals, organizations, and government entities working to leverage our vast water resources for the economic benefit of Greater Peoria. The team focuses on water capacity, tourism, business development, and preservation, sharing information and supporting strategies that utilize a critical, regional asset.

ESO Roundtable

The Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESO) Roundtable includes practitioners working to develop, support, and enhance our entrepreneurial support systems in Greater Peoria. The group networks to identify opportunities to strengthen existing systems and fill critical gaps in connectivity, mentoring, investment, incubation space, and access to resources and tools.
